Waffles is the studio mascot and the heart behind Wafflin' Platypus Games. In real life, Waffles is Jason — SquishMcMuffin's partner and the inspiration that sparked the whole studio. The name, the spirit, the vibe — it all started with Waffles.

SquishMcMuffin is the founder and head of Wapla Games. They started the studio with a love for games, a weird sense of humour, and a very inspiring partner named Waffles. As the driving force behind the team, SquishMcMuffin leads development, keeps everyone on track, and makes sure every project stays true to the studio's spirit — experimental, a little weird, and always fun.

Curricle brings our games to life through immersive soundscapes and innovative audio design. As Creative Director & Sound Designer, they craft the perfect blend of music and sound effects that make players feel truly connected to our game worlds. A synth enthusiast and field recording adventurer.

Kaybee is the writer for Wapla Games, bringing stories and characters to life across the studio's projects. They're the creative voice behind Alpaca Picnic, crafting the narrative and world that makes it more than just a game.
